Abstract
During the period of debased small change the counts of Sulz also struck coin, without holding any right of coinage; Tiengen is taken to be the mint. From Count Karl Ludwig Ernst, who administered the lands from the start of the Thirty Years War, half kreuzer, four heller, three kreuzer, batzen, six kreuzer, twelve kreuzer, taler and gold gulden had been known. The paper presents two further pieces, alike in workmanship and in carelessness: a twenty-four kreuzer of 5.647 g and 28 mm from a Munich auction of 1972, and a forty-eight kreuzer of 10.25 g and 34 mm from the Munich State Coin Collection, missing from Gebert. Neither is mentioned in the literature nor held in the cabinets the author consulted.
