About the yearbook
Jahrbuch für Numismatik und Geldgeschichte
Since 1949 the JNG has appeared as the scholarly flagship of the BNG – in editorial cooperation with the Staatliche Münzsammlung München and numerous experts under peer review. Its predecessors were the 'Mitteilungen der Bayerischen Numismatischen Gesellschaft' (1882–1937).
Editors: M. Barth, Kay Ehling, Martin Hirsch, Dietrich Klose and Hans-Christoph von Mosch. Academic advisory board incl.: Volker Heuchert (Oxford), Ulrike Peter (Berlin), Ulrich Pfisterer (Munich), Andreas Urs Sommer (Freiburg i. Br.), Christian Stoess (Berlin), Klaus Vondrovec (Vienna), Ute Wartenberg (New York) and Bernhard Woytek (Vienna).
