Abstract
In discussing the small silver coins found at the Hradiste near Stradonice in Bohemia, Rudolf Paulsen had called two single pieces unmistakably Norican; later literature passed them over. The paper describes them: one weighs 0.65 g and shows on the obverse the two-row form of the laurel wreath and on the reverse a triple line cross whose secondary strokes have become slightly wedge-shaped through recutting; the second weighs 0.465 g and shows a horse to the left. Without being able to name an issuing authority, the author assigns the first piece, on the execution of the laurel wreath, to the older western Norican stage.
