Abstract

A third report on Celtic coins from the oppidum of Manching, found by private individuals and brought onto the market. It presents 98 pieces submitted to the author, some of which the Munich prehistoric collection was able to acquire. Their composition and surface condition suggest that part of the material surfacing in recent years comes from a larger hoard whose pieces are being released onto the market a few at a time.
