Abstract
The paper describes eleven differing types of dirhams of the Rum Seljuk Kai Kaus II, all struck in 658 AH at the mints of Konya and Lu'lu'a. It records those words of the marginal and reverse legends that carry diacritical points, filling marks or stars, together with diameters and weights between 2.467 and 3.012 g. Comparing the styles yields no secure conclusions about the mint: types differing in obverse style show the same reverse ornaments, and the spelling of the mint name varies within one and the same group.
