Abstract

The second and concluding part of the corpus of the coinage of Attaleia in Pamphylia, continued from the volume of 1975. It covers history, chronology and catalogue from Septimius Severus to the end of minting under Valerian and Gallienus, together with an overall assessment. The datings rest on portrait classes and hairstyles, on statue bases and on the journeys of the imperial house, such as the visit of Severus and Julia Domna in the Parthian war year 197. Every die carries its own catalogue number.
