Abstract

In 1956 Konrad Kraft acquired for the Munich State Coin Collection a hoard of 335 folles of the years 294 to 313, said by the vendor to have been found at Antalya, ancient Attaleia in Pamphylia. Nothing is known of the circumstances of discovery, but patina and internal features indicate that all the pieces belong together. The paper presents the coin list arranged by emperor and mint, with references to RIC and Cohen as well as diameters and weights, and evaluates this long withheld hoard.
