Abstract

Written in Italian, the paper gathers casts and photographs of Greek and Roman coins bearing scratched graffiti from eastern Sicily. The author re-examines the pieces already known, many of which can no longer be traced, and proposes a closer classification than the four groups of Lenormant, who had assembled 91 graffiti as early as 1878. The value of these small documents lies above all in Greek onomastics.
