Abstract
The third part of the die corpus. Nabburg is the first and until 978 the only secondary mint of the Regensburg standard in Bavaria, and owes its existence to the Liudolf revolt of 953/954: the rebels under the Bavarian count palatine Arnulf and the Swabian duke Liudolf were besieged three times at Regensburg, and both sides needed money. Having lost his capital, duke Henry I first struck with bishop Ulrich at Augsburg, while Liudolf's supporters appear to have moved their striking to Nabburg.
