Abstract
The study of coin hoards in Dacia goes back more than a century, and the work of recent decades on Dacian history and on the hoards has settled many questions about the economic and political history of the lands north of the lower Danube. Since the author's own publication of 1955 both hoards and single finds have increased considerably, which makes additions and corrections necessary and allows the circulation of coin to be followed more closely. The single finds, as could be established, always remain within the distribution area of the hoards, but carry little weight numerically and matter only for knowledge of the relative density of settlement. A find catalogue with supplements is presented.
