Abstract

The first part of the study contains the catalogue of the coins from Augusta. The issues in the reigns of Augustus and Tiberius were especially prolific. All the coins of this time show the portrait of Livia. In the 3rd century again issues are numerous. As an introduction the author gives a short survey of the history and the history of research of this city. A 2nd part is supposed to be published in JNG 1991. (Klose)
