Abstract

Publication of a hoard of 191 Syrian tetradrachms and 5 tridrachms from Nero to Elagabalus. The composition of this hoard makes it likely that it was buried in Northern Syria. The exact site is unknown. Beneath some new varieties especially nr. 167 is interesting, because the reverse type by its design may be attributed to two different mints
