Abstract

Recently detected strayfinds of coins from the sites of two Roman shorttime military installations, probably labor- and/or supply camps, offer the possibility of a closer dating of these installations, which first were published in 1983 by S. v. Schnurbein. One has to emphasize that this site was in some use to the time of Claudius I, as far as the evidence of these coins shows. This fits into the general development of this region, which under Claudius became the province of Raetia. DIETRICH 0
