The notice of a new find: a sestertius of the Augustan moneyers series, picked up within the city area of ancient Ammaedara, modern Haidra in Tunisia, bearing the uncommon countermark APRON. The find is the more notable in that J.-B. Giard had recently placed these very countermarks once again among the marks of uncertain origin and date.
