Abstract
An attempt at a comprehensive catalogue. The author has long worked on the coinage history of early modern Bavaria; of his dissertation of 1968 only the historical part has so far appeared. What chiefly stood in the way of the catalogue was a barely soluble question, the line between a work of types and a corpus when dealing with extensive series. The paper presents the gold gulden coinage under Ferdinand Maria as a self contained part.
