Abstract

During the rebuilding of a department store on the main square of Mühldorf am Inn, a building worker found on 20 February 1976 a clay vessel of late medieval coins in a cavity in the vault of the cellar ceiling. After the Roman hoard recovered at Klugham more than a hundred and twenty years ago and lost in the Second World War, this is the next numismatic enrichment for the district; a cross section is shown on loan in the local museum.
