Abstract
At the start of systematic excavation in the Celtic oppidum near Manching, Celtic coins also came to light, among them four almost designless bowl shaped gold pieces lying close together which probably formed a small hoard; Werner Krämer published them. Since then attention has gone to the perforated clay trays used for making flans and to a quarter stater of the Janus type, while the smooth rainbow cups remained numismatically unstudied, much like the Manching find of silver coins of the bush type. The paper surveys the known material and seeks to determine the position of these pieces in relation to other Celtic issues, above all to the rainbow cups with bird's head and torque from the Irsching hoard.
