Abstract

Based on G. Krug, Die meißnisch-sächsischen Groschen 1338 bis 1500 (Berlin 1974) author is investigating the results on the coinage, caused by the division of 1382. He further deals with the deterioration of the "Grundtypgroschen" (basic type of groschen) till 1405, the new arrangement of Frederic's VI "Grundtypgroschen", the Thuringian helmet groschen and further the coinage of Frederic of Thuringia till 1412. He is discussing P. Arnold's contributions to the same topic
