Abstract

The article renders an elaborate description of Schinkel's work in the fields of medals and decorations, beginning with the medal „for art and literary products". There is further dealt with the designs of the Iron Cross, of medals commemorating the war, the liberation wars against Napoleon and of many further medals and decorations. Not only the designs, but too the details of ordering and executing are reported
