Abstract

Publication and interpretation of a bronze coin of massiliote type, found in excavations and datable into the 2nd half of the 2nd century B.C. On the reverse it shows a bull and the letters MA. Author is correcting the old identification of certain potin coins bearing the letters MA to the Mandubii and points out the importance of the coin published as interesting for the development of potin coinage modelled after massiliote prototype
