Abstract

Continuation and presentation of the results of the article in the preceding JNG 44, 1994, 35-77. By analysis of the standard weights of the sorts of coins of a certain group there is the possibility of establishing a relative chronology. Further one may gain evidence for devaluations and the debasement of coinage. The author presents a chronology for the time to about 195 B.C. based on various coin hoards, he further deals with the ratio of celtic rainbowcup-staters ("Regenbogenschüsselchen") and quinarii. In a supplement — presented in geographical order — he publishes sort weights and standard weights of different coin sorts
