Literaturüberblicke der griechischen Numismatik: Spain

Abstract

The seventh instalment of the literature surveys and the only one written in English. According to the editors' preface these surveys are meant above all as a tool: to ease the use of the widely scattered numismatic literature for historians and archaeologists and so to promote cooperation between numismatics and its neighbouring disciplines. This part covers the literature on the coinage of Spain. The list of abbreviations placed first is particularly long, because a great part of the work appeared in Spanish provincial journals and in the proceedings of the archaeological congresses of the Spanish southeast, which are hard to find in libraries outside Spain.

This summary was produced automatically from the digitised full text and has not been checked by the editors.
