From Bavaria to Bohemia: the coin find of Běhařov near Klatovy (12th century)

A coin hoard discovered in south-western Bohemia in 1967, containing about 1,100 pfennigs from the 12th century, was presented. The lecture analysed the composition of the find of Bavarian and Austrian thin pfennigs, presented rare unpublished coin types and examined the role of the Bavarian pfennig in western Bohemia.
