BNG annual outing to Straubing

Around 20 members of the BNG and the Münchner Münzfreunde undertook an autumn coach trip through Lower Bavaria to Straubing. After a reception by the deputy mayor, a historical city walk led through the old town of the Gäuboden town. Following lunch at the traditional inn Zum Bayerischen Löwen, the programme included a guided tour of the Gäubodenmuseum with its insights into the Celtic and Roman history of the region.
